The offroad/bad fuel dongle allows use of the “bad fuel” mapping, whereby the engine continues to run perfectly even with poor quality fuel. In addition, the ABS and traction control systems can be switched off permanently (i.e. they remain deactivated even after turning off the ignition and restarting). The hardware is protected from water and impact in a plastic casing and connected to the main wiring harness, ready for use immediately.
